All in all, still a very relaxing experience and would consider staying again, especially for the price, but did want management to know that there were a few issues this time.Located in the heart of the Mexican Caribean. Not that there wasn't plenty of other alcohol to be had but seemed a little strange. I was never denied any type of alcohol during my last trip but this time I could get Stoli Vodka at the pool but not at the lobby bar and when I asked for blanco tequila at the pool bar, I was told they didn't have any despite there being a bottle on the bar.
And something seemed weird with the "all inclusive" beverage package this time. Not sure if they have been taking on more shifts or something is going on with management. They all were very attentive but everyone seemed a little "tired" and not as friendly this go around (and I recognized a lot of the same staff). No material issues but something seemed a little "off" with the staff this time. Had another great experience but service has slipped a little bit so only 4 stars this time. Stayed here last November and needed another quick getaway so decided to stay again after a 5 star experience last time. I normally don't care to leave a review but just can't let this one slide. Overall this was a massively disappointing experience. We had to physically go stop them in the hallway. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone - room service, concierge, front desk. The phone in the room was not working at all and no one came to fix it even after we complained to the front desk. They insisted that one of our guys to change out of his tank top for the buffet even though women are walking around with basically just swimsuits and it was way too hot to wear anything else other than a tank top.

Even though it was way too hot in most areas in the resort, they still enforced a dress code for men. The restaurants and buffet were very lacking in quality with the exception of the Italian place, but they didn't provide lunch. Therefore, we had horrible sleep, on top of the weak AC in the room. There was no patrol or security to control the situation. There were hundreds of high school kids taking over the entire resort, screaming and shouting at 4am every single day.
The only spot in the entire resort that had any AC was in the members center which is only accessible if you sit through their timeshare presentation. Our visit was in the end of June and the entire resort didn't really have AC at all, not in the buffet, not in the adult bar (they claimed it was broken but we were there for 9 days, it couldn't be fixed for all 9 days?).
